Meyer Lemon Tart

I made this lemon tart using Meyer Lemons which are not as tart as standard lemons.  Their skin is also deeper in shade which helps to make the tart a very bright yellow.  I love this tart, its texture, its flavor, and its crust.  I made it to bring to my sisters home for a visit.  Her four year old son was at school while I was there, but as I was driving home, I got the sweetest little phone call from him… P.J.:  ”Auntie Natie,... [Read More...]

Ham Egg & Cheese Savory Crepe

What can I say about this other than the fact that I love crepes - savory or sweet - they are delectable. The crepe batter recipe below is classic and fantastic. The pie... [Read More...]

No-Knead Pizza

Jim is the mastermind behind the cult favorite no-knead bread recipe that was printed in the New York Times. It was the first loaf of bread that I ever made, and it was a great introduction for me into the genre. So clearly I was more than enthused to have a new no-knead recipe,... [Read More...]

Homemade No Knead Bread

Ever since Mark Bittman of the New York Times wrote about a fast and easy no knead, one day bread, everyone has been trying it out. I have never made homemade bread, and the thought itself always seemed daunting and somewhat impossible. But this recipe seemed just so easy. I had to join the bandwagon and give it a try too. Anyone… and I mean anyone can make this bread! Trust me, it is nothing to be intimidated by, and I really recommend giving... [Read More...]
